BlueLine Taxis Farnham
“You” and Your means any individual, company or other buisness who places the booking with us.
BOOKING
A) You must allow sufficient time when booking your taxi to allow for any delays caused by traffic conditions or if applicable for the check-in time required by your airline. Blueline Taxis shall not be responsible for any delay caused by your failure to allow enough time to reach your destination or if the passengers are not ready for collection at the booked time.
B) You must order a suitable car size for the number of passengers and luggage. Blueline Taxis can not Guarantee to carry excessive amounts of luggage. Please note that all children regardless of age count as one passenger.
C) If you require to transport a wheelchair, buggy’s or a bike please specify at the time of booking.
PRICE AND PAYMENT
A) Blueline Taxis will give you a quotation based on the information given by you. Blueline Taxis may amend the quotation if there is any material change to the original itinerary, the time of the booking the number of passengers or the type of or size of vehicle required. If no price has been agreed all journeys will be on a meter.
C) For collections from airports the quotation will include a 45 minute waiting period after the advertised landing time. After this you are responsible for the cost of the car park. Blueline Taxis will endeavour to check for flight delays before the driver leaves for the airport but shall be under no obligation to do so.
D) Payment can be made by cash or card. Each Journey must be paid for at the destination unless otherwise agreed.
THE SERVICE
A) You Shall be responsible for the behaviour of all passengers in the vehicle during the journey. You will be charged £100 in the event of the vehicle being soiled by any passenger!
B) Eating, drinking and smoking in our vehicles is not permitted.
C) All children travelling during the journey should be restrained in a manor appropriate to their age, weight and height. The Law states taxis are exempt from legislation relating to children travelling in baby/child seats. If you require a a child seat for your journey it would be the responsibility of the parents to provide one, fit it in the vehicle and to secure the child. We can however retain seats for return journeys.
D) Blueline Taxis will under no circumstances carry more people than the vehicle is licensed to carry.
CANCELATIONS
If you need to cancel your booking, please contact Blueline Taxis as soon as possible. If you cancel after the vehicle has been dispatched then a charge may occur.
LIABILITY
A) Blueline Taxis shall use all reasonable measures to get you to your destination on time, but shall not be liable for any loss. due to delays caused by road or traffic conditions beyond our control during the journey.
B) All luggage is carried entirely at your risk.
C) Blueline Taxis shall be entitled to cancel all services and provide a refund in the event of a declared national emergency, war, fuel shortage extreme weather conditions,terrorist attack or other circumstances beyond our control.
D) If the vehicle breaks down during your journey Blueline Taxis will endeavour to arrange an alternative car to complete the journey as soon as practical.
E) Blueline Taxis will refuse or terminate any booking with immediate effect if it places any driver at risk or any vehicle at risk of damage. Violence or abuse will not be tolerated from you or any passenger in your party and we will ask all passengers to vacate the vehicle as soon as it’s safe to do so. No refunds will be given if the journey is terminated part way through the hire.
MISCELLANEOUS
A) Blueline Taxis may change these terms and conditions at any time by posting them online. Please check regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes.
B) Blueline Taxis shall store, process and use all information regarding your personal details in accordance with the data protection act 1998
